Art Competition

Wildlife Habitat Canada invites Canadian wildlife artists to participate in an art competition held annually to select the image for the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp (#CanadianDuckStamp) and Print. 

2019 Art Competition

We are pleased to announce that the Art Competition for the 2019 Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp and Print Program will feature the Canvasback (Aythya valisineria)!

Deadline to confirm intent to participate:  DATE HAS NOW PASSED.  Please check back again next year for the 2020 competition. 

Deadline for entries is October 12, 2017


Although the art competition is by invitation only, Wildlife Habitat Canada welcomes new Canadian artists that may be interested in competing.

2018 Art Competition

The 2018 Art Competition was held in early December 2016. The winning image will be unveiled on April 1, 2018 and will feature the Wood Duck (Aix sponsa).
