Wildlife Habitat Canada is thrilled to welcome Robin Lawson as our new Program Director.
Robin brings a deep-rooted passion for habitat conservation, grounded in a whole-landscape approach. A strong advocate for intergenerational and cross-sector collaboration, she believes that diverse voices and shared knowledge are essential to addressing the twin crises of biodiversity loss and climate change.
Originally from rural southwestern Ontario, Robin holds a degree in Environment and Sustainability from Acadia University. She launched her conservation career with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and later worked in conservation research and policy development at the Centre for Land Conservation.
Now based in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), Robin continues to champion conservation as Chair of the Canadian Committee for the IUCN.
We are excited to have her leadership, vision, and experience guiding WHC’s conservation programs. Welcome, Robin!
