Congratulations to Be The Change Earth Alliance (BTCEA)!
We’re proud to recognize BTCEA as the recipient of the 2024–2025 Diane Griffin Community Conservation Award for their FLOW Project – Youth Collaborating on Freshwater Action.
Through this inspiring initiative, BTCEA empowered more than 550 youth to take meaningful climate action.
Together, they:
• Reduced 1.55 million kg of CO2 emissions
• Conserved 1.3 million L of water
• Reduced 1,523 kg of plastic waste
• Removed 44+ kg of litter
• Improved 4 hectares of habitat
An additional 3,360 students were engaged through classroom resources, amplifying the project’s reach and impact.
Beyond the numbers, FLOW gave youth the tools to address eco-anxiety, strengthen community action, and see their role in building a more sustainable, just future.
