WHC is seeking volunteers to join its Board of Directors
Expertise in marketing/communications, fundraising, contract law, hunting recruitment (particularly waterfowl hunting), wetland habitat, business development, or finance would be considered assets.
The Board provides strategic planning and support, fiscal oversight, and policy development to our non-profit organization, meeting in-person twice annually and by teleconference as needed. It is estimated that a minimum time commitment of 100 hours/year (approximately 8 hours/month) would be required.
The deadline for expressions of interest is November 30, 2016.
WHC is a national, charitable NGO dedicated to funding habitat conservation programs in Canada, conserving and restoring habitat, providing conservation leadership and promoting the benefits and contributions of waterfowl hunting.
