Thanks to our volunteers

Much of the work we do involves sharing the accomplishments and achievements of others.  We are proud to be providing necessary funds to on-the-ground conservation groups so that they can implement incredible projects that have lasting impact on wildlife habitats.

In order to advocate and let the world know about these groups we need to reach out proactively to our networks and supporters.  This type of work takes much time and is often overlooked, but thanks to the support of a few exceptional people, WHC has benefited from a greater presence within our community. We would like to express a special thanks to our most recent volunteers.

Johanne Lemieux: Translation services

Johanne came to us back in spring of 2017 with an offering of translation services.  Her interest in conservation and wildlife has drawn her to our content. Since then she has provided timely and thorough translations of many of our documents including grant proposals, press releases, web posts and much more.

Thank you so much for all your help, Johanne. We are forever grateful.

Brittany Sullivan: Social media Campaigns

Having freshly finished her Masters thesis, Brittany came to us eager to maintain momentum in the conservation world.  She approached us with an array of ideas on how to grab more attention for WHC through our social media channels. She was an inspiration to all of us in the office and was the brainchild of the #whcstampmeans selfie campaign.  Thanks, Brittany for your energy and devotion to conservation!

Karena Mistry : Graphic Design

Karena came highly recommended for her graphic design skills. After one short meeting in the office she was able to run with the projects and develop some beautiful visuals for our events while staying true to our mission.  She is meticulous and very efficient with her MacBook providing design ideas for some of WHC’s promotional documents such as posters and reports.  Thank you, Karena for your participation and creativity.
