Upon purchase of the permit, hunters are required to also purchase the Canadian wildlife habitat conservation Stamp.  At the cost of $8.50 CDN, this stamp supports our conservation work.  Thanks to a unique partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada, WHC has been allocating funds generated from the Stamp since 1985, supporting over 1500 projects and providing over $50 million in supported and matched funds.

When you purchase your permit online, you will be required to purchase this stamp.  The cost of this portion of the permit is what supports our conservation work.  You may request to have it mailed to you to stick to your permit or simply print out a digital version on your permit itself.  Certain collectors will prefer to have the actual stamp. Wildlife Habitat Canada thanks all waterfowl hunters for their purchase, without your support, our conservation efforts would not be possible.
