Brad Potter

Manager, Fish and Wildlife, Forests, Fish and Wildlife Division
PEI Department of Communities, Land and Environment

Brad is currently the Manager of Fish and Wildlife for the province of Prince Edward Island. But a quick look at the WHC website shows you where Brad’s heart really lies: firmly embedded in his family, with his wife Krista and four children, Grace – 14, Noah – 12, William – 10 and Jack – 7.  And being a biologist, he also lives with a lovely golden retriever Lucy.

Brad attended St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, but returned to the College of Geographic Sciences and the University of Prince Edward Island for more studies.

Like many WHC members, Brad has a passion for being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and golfing. However, he quickly admits that he spends more time talking about these activities than participating. As an active and proud Dad, most of his free time is spent coaching/watching/parenting at his children’s sports activities such as hockey, ringette and soccer.

He, like all of our Board members, has a great appreciation for the contribution made by Wildlife Habitat Canada to Canadian conservation outcomes and is a proud member of the Board of Directors.
