– Wildlife Habitat Canada is seeking dynamic & motivated volunteers to join its Board of Directors –

If you share a conservation ethic that recognizes the value of wildlife habitats that are abundant, rich and support biodiversity, we want to hear from you!

Who are we? We are a forward-looking organization that seeks a broad range of experience, age, gender and cultural backgrounds on our Board of Directors.

Wildlife Habitat Canada is a non-profit, charitable conservation organization that provides financial support for conservation projects and initiatives related to waterfowl and migratory birds’ management. Our grant program has been providing funds that support habitat restoration, enhancement and protection all over Canada for almost 35 years. The funds for this program come from the sale of the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp.

Who are you? You have a passion for conservation and believe in the sustainable use of natural resources.

Are you up for the challenge? Our Board meets in person twice annually and by teleconference several times a year. We estimate that a minimum time commitment of 100 hours/year (approximately 8 hours/month) is required.

If this sounds like you, we hope you’ll consider joining us. For more information, please contact Cameron Mack, Executive Director, cmack@whc.org.

The deadline for expressions of interest is May 1, 2018.
