The Hunting and Angling Advisory Panel (HAAP) met with Canada’s Fisheries and Oceans Minister, the Honourable Keith Ashfield, on May 2, 2013 and Canada’s Environment Minister, the Honourable Peter Kent, on May 3, 2013.

As a member of the Hunting and Angling Advisory Panel, Wildlife Habitat Canada was pleased to attend both the meeting with Minister Ashfield and the meeting with Minister Kent.

The Panel met with Minister Ashfield on May 2, 2013 regarding changes to the Fisheries Act and the Fisheries Conservation Partnership Program.

The following day, the Panel met with Minister Kent to discuss Migratory Bird Regulations and the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp, among other matters.
